Commissioning Technician (m/f/d)
Apprenticeship / HTL
Full-time / 38.5 hours per week / @headquaters
What we expect
- Completed training in electrical engineering/electronics/automation technology/mechatronics (apprenticeship/HTL)
- Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 60-80%) – average travel duration: 5-10 days
- A high degree of flexibility
- Field service installation experience
- Good English skills
- Comprehensive IT skills
- High sense of responsibility, independent and structured way of working
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Class B driver’s license
Your tasks in the team
- Installation and commissioning of telescope systems and domes (hardware: mechanical & electrical, software) worldwide
- Installation, commissioning, and testing of telescope systems at the company location
- Training and final acceptance at the customer’s site
- Documentation of the work performed
- Support/maintenance (remote and on-site)
Knowledge of telescope systems and astronomy is an advantage, but not required.

Salary:
The minimum gross salary for this position is €2,885.37 (14 times per year, excluding assembly and travel allowances) in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on your qualifications and experience, a significantly higher salary is possible.
