Commissioning technician (m/f/d)
Apprenticeship/HTL Graduate
Full-time / 38.5 hours per week / @headquaters
Your qualifications:
- Completed training in electrical engineering, electronics, automation technology, or mechatronics (Apprenticeship/HTL)
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 60%) – average travel duration: 5-10 days
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability
- Advantageous: experience in fieldwork and on-site assembly
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Solid IT skills
- High sense of responsibility, with an independent and structured approach to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid Class B driver’s license
Your responsibilities:
- Assembly, commissioning, and testing of telescope systems at our facility
- Worldwide installation and commissioning of telescope systems, including hardware (mechanical & electrical) and software
- Integration of observatory systems and domes (electrical hardware & software) internationally
- Conducting training sessions and performing final acceptance with customers
- Documenting all completed work
Prior knowledge of telescope systems and astronomy is not required – training will be provided.

Salary:
We offer a minimum gross monthly salary of €3,000.00. The actual salary will depend on your qualifications and experience and will be determined on an individual basis.
