Employee, Internal Technical Sales (m/f/d)

Full-time / 38.5 hours per week / @headquaters

What We Expect:

  • Completed technical training (e.g., in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics), along with additional commercial qualifications or comparable experience
  • Strong technical understanding for handling technical inquiries and coordinating with internal departments
  • Professional experience in technical office work is an advantage
  • Proficient in using a PC, especially MS Office
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics NAV) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of international accounting, customs, and export regulations
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English; experience with international customers is preferred
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resilient, with strong teamwork skills
  • Confident, positive, and committed demeanor with a strong solution- and customer-oriented mindset

Your Tasks in the Team

  • Provide technical advice and support to customers throughout the sales process
  • Coordinate first-level support
  • Manage the order process—from quotation to delivery and invoicing—while keeping track of ongoing projects
  • Organize and lead meetings to coordinate with internal departments (production, engineering, procurement, etc.), as well as with customers and external partners
  • Oversee internal and external coordination processes with production, engineering, procurement, customers, and partners
  • Coordinate transport logistics with freight forwarders (selecting carriers, preparing shipping documents)

Prior knowledge of telescope systems and astronomy is not required, but an interest in and willingness to familiarize yourself with this field is desirable.

Salary:
We offer an attractive annual salary starting at €60,000.00 gross (based on 38.5 hours/week). Depending on your qualifications and experience, a significantly higher salary is possible.
