First light of one of our customers

“The first photons with our main telescope (ASA – EQ 1000mm Ritchey-Chrétien telescope f7) at the Vega observatory – Haus der Natur Salzburg, were collected for test purposes.
I chose the planetary nebula M27 named the Dumbbell nebula in the constellation Vulpecula.
You can see the gas remnant of a dying sun 1400 light years away!
Taken with my Astro CCD (Moravian G2 8300 FW)
Exposure time: 6 x 20 min. H-alpha and 6 x 20min. OIII (Bicolor)
The first test run was completed successfully, now a bit of fine tuning and then it can really start!”
