First light: M42

The image showcases the stunning first light capture of the Orion Nebula (M42) by the robotic Two-Meter ASA AZ2000 at Teide Observatory. As one of the closest and most iconic stellar nurseries, located 1,350 light-years from Earth, the Orion Nebula has been a key object in astronomical research for centuries.
