A remarkable highlight: ASA unveils its first Clamshell Dome for the world at the Uecht Observatory. This technological marvel effortlessly accommodates telescopes with diameters of up to one meter – whether mounted azimuthal or equatorial.
The ASA AZ1000 1m RC telescope, exclusively developed for the Uecht Observatory (optical aperture of 101.5 cm/40 inch), combined with the UWF300, sets new standards and is celebrated as Switzerland’s largest telescope.
We look back with immense pride on this masterpiece and the successful collaboration!
