ASA EQ800 wide-field telescope

ASA EQ800 WF telescope installed in Uzbekistan

We are pleased to announce the installation of a new ASA EQ800 WF in Uzbekistan.

Featuring an 800 mm primary mirror and a wide-field optical design, the EQ800 WF combines a large aperture with an exceptionally wide field of view, making it ideally suited for demanding astronomical imaging and survey applications.

The new telescope expands the capabilities of its observatory with high-resolution, wide-field observations and the precision of an equatorial telescope system from ASA. This latest installation marks another milestone in the international deployment of ASA’s advanced astronomical instrumentation.

We look forward to seeing the first results from this impressive new system and to supporting its continued operation in Uzbekistan.
